RESTORATION
OF VINTAGE PONTIAC DEALERSHIP SIGN |

| This
was a 1950's double sided porcelain neon sign from a dealership in central
Massachusetts. The private collector of vintage GTO's
contacted Atlantic Neon Co. to do a complete restoration. As you can see,
the sign was in poor condition. We stripped it down to basic
components. The porcelain was restored and brought to original
condition. The metal cabinet was duplicated and painted (it was completely rusted
out). The neon was remade using the bending style of the 1950's
period. For electrical safety, new PK housings, wiring, and
transformers were added. |
